PRIVACY
RF measurement data stays local in this preview.
RFellow is intentionally designed so that opening and analyzing Touchstone files does not require uploading the measurement data to an RFellow server.
What happens to a Touchstone file?
The browser reads the file into page memory, parses the frequency points and complex network data, performs local calculations, and renders the result. Closing or reloading the page discards the in-memory workspace.
What is not sent?
This build has no backend measurement-upload endpoint, user account, cloud project store or third-party analytics library. Filenames, comments, S-parameters, limits, markers and derived cascades are not intentionally transmitted by the application.
The appearance switch may save rfcheck.appearance.v1 (light or dark), the shared optional Display size control may save rfellow.siteScale.v1 (90%, 100%, 110%, or 125%), and the Guides reader may save rfcheckGuideScale (90%, 100%, 110%, or 125%) in browser local storage. These are display preferences only; no RF measurements are stored. Clear browser site data to reset the preferences.
Contact and partnership enquiries
When enabled, the separate Contact form sends only the name, reply email, category and message you explicitly submit, plus an anti-spam verification and necessary network metadata, to a configured support service. Never submit customer measurements, secrets or proprietary RF data. Attachments are not accepted. The preview disables sending until the service is configured. The privacy notice, provider, recipients and retention policy must be reviewed before launch.
Sponsored external links
Courses & Partners can link to courses or vendors. Sponsored placements and commission-eligible links must be disclosed. Following a link leaves RFellow and the destination has its own privacy practices. RFellow does not process external course purchases or track affiliate conversions in this preview.
What about future features?
If RFellow later adds optional cloud projects, accounts, billing, telemetry or support uploads, those features require an updated privacy policy and an explicit product review before release. Local analysis should remain available independently where practical.
External links
Some educational reference material may link to standards bodies, publications and instrument-vendor documentation. Following an external link leaves RFellow and is subject to that destination's privacy practices.
Commercial engineering useThe local-processing design is intended to make the free viewer practical for ordinary commercial engineering workflows, but organizations remain responsible for their own information-classification and export-control policies.
This preview text is product-design guidance, not a substitute for final legal review before a public commercial launch.
